Privacy policy

Last updated: 09/11/2026

This policy explains what personal data Ticon, Inc. collects when you use TrafficZoom, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. It replaces, for this website and the TrafficZoom platform, the general Ticon privacy policy dated 20 November 2022.

1. Who we are

TrafficZoom is operated by Ticon, Inc. ("Ticon", "we", "us", "our"), a corporation registered in Delaware, United States.Registered address: 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes Delaware 19958. Privacy and data requests: admin@ticon.co. General enquiries: info@ticon.co
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. The short version

- We collect what you give us on our forms and in your platform account, plus standard technical data about your visit.
- We use it to run the service, answer you, keep the site secure and improve the product.
- We do not sell personal data.
- The traffic data we publish is not personal data about you or anyone else — it is anonymised and aggregated before it reaches us.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete it, at admin@ticon.co.

3. What personal data we collect

Information you give us

- Name, job title, company, email address and phone number, when you submit a contact or demo request form, book a call, or subscribe to updates.
- The content of messages and enquiries you send us, including any information you choose to include in them.
- Account details if you use the TrafficZoom platform at app.trafficzoom.co: your name, work email, company and password credentials.

Information we collect automatically

- IP address, browser type and language, operating system, device type.
- Access times, pages viewed, the page that referred you to us, and the links you clicked.
- Identifiers set by cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Notice.

Information generated by your use of the platform

- The areas, counties and road corridors you look up, the reports you generate, the queries you run against our API, and your subscription status and usage limits.

Billing information

- Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your billing name, billing address, subscription status and the last four digits of the payment card. We do not receive or store full card numbers.

We do not ask for, and do not knowingly collect, special categories of personal data such as health, biometric, religious or political information.

4. The traffic data we publish is not personal data

This is worth stating plainly, because we are a data company and the question is reasonable.

The traffic volumes, truck shares, travel times and driver demographics published on this site are derived from anonymised and aggregated mobility datasets licensed from third-party providers, combined with road sensor data, public traffic count programs and US Census Bureau statistics. The mobility inputs are anonymised and aggregated before they reach us. We do not receive identifiers that would let us single out a device, a trip or a person, we do not attempt to re-identify anyone, and nothing we publish describes an identifiable individual.

"Driver demographics" are area-level inferences about the places trips begin — not observations about the people making them.

If you live in another US state with a privacy law (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and others), you have comparable rights to access, correct, delete and opt out.

To exercise any right, email admin@ticon.co. We will verify your identity and respond within 30 days, or tell you if we need longer. Exercising your rights is free unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
